Rules of the library

The PCL Library is a small library run for not-for-profit purposes. The library is run on principles of goodwill and trust. We hope that you will enjoy reading and learning from our collection, and we expect that you will take care of our books. Specific rules are:

1. Anyone can borrow from the library

2. An individual can only borrow one book at a time

3. Books can only be picked up from the PCL offices in Port Vila, and books must be returned there

4. Books can be borrowed for six weeks, and can be renewed for another six weeks if no-one has reserved it

5. If you would like to borrow a book that is already in use, you can reserve it

6. If the book is lost or damaged, the individual will be expected to cover the replacement cost

7. If there is a book you would like to read that is not in library you can request for PCL to buy it, but this is entirely at the discretion of PCL

If you would like to donate any books to the library, then they would be greatly welcomed. Please get in touch with us if so.
